n.b : There is a 100 ft upslope from the threshold of r/w 17. It is common practice to land uphill with a tail-wind but this depends on aircraft type & pilot experience. If not sure, make a low level pass to assess conditions. Site is tree-lined so be aware of possible curl-over. Two tracks cross the runway but it is possible to include these in the landing run. Beware telephone poles & cables in next field if taking off uphill to South. This is a very useable strip but always with caution. Airfield closed October - March due to water-logging.
